A large Midwest logistics company requested engineering support to develop a high-level TIC to increase storage capacity of Black Wax. The client had one Black Wax storage tank located in the refiner tank farm (RTF). The scope was to develop cost to construct three new 120,000 BBL tanks and associated equipment, piping, and electrical to increase storage capacity of Black Wax in a remote tank farm located across an interstate highway approximately 4000 ft away. This allowed the client to take advantage of blending opportunities.
