JEPCO was approached to perform the OSBL portion of the conversion at a Rocky Mountain Region refinery. We developed FEL 1,2,3 and detail engineering for the OSBL areas supporting the processing “of” soy oil and provided a design for feedstock and finished fuel systems, as well as for all utilities and firewater systems. This work included all aspects of engineering, multidiscipline from process, piping/mechanical, C/S, E&I. This required a considerable effort to route and utilize existing refinery equipment.
